This paper, written by Ruth Melville and Ben Morgan, was commissioned as part of our National Evaluation and brings together a rich mix of learning from the first two years of the Creative People and Places programme.

Building Whist Flying draws on reports and research from the National Evaluation, outputs from the Peer Learning programme and local evaluations to tell the story of CPP’s learning so far. It provides a clear commentary on the programme, and aims to informs areas of practice across the arts. It also signposts to further research so that topics can be explored in greater depth.
