Governance and Consortium Working

This report by Tom Fleming and Catherine Bunting explores the models, strengths and challenges of consortium working - an inherent part of Creative People and Places - and was commissioned as part of the National Evaluation.

It includes guidance on partnership and consortium development for organisations working in similar multi-agency contexts and makes a strong case that in order to reach more and different people, and work in different ways, organisations need to think about the way they organise themselves and the partners with whom they collaborate.

Audience Profiling and Mapping Year 1

We have commissioned annual audience profiling and mapping for Creative People and Places from The Audience Agency. This is its report from the first year of the programme including attendances up until December 2014. It includes data from 15 of the 21 places as not all projects were at a delivery stage when the research took place. The combined participant profile shows that 95% of our audience and participants for Year 1 come from audience segments with low or medium engagement in the arts, with 50% from segments with low engagement in the arts.

Place Governance and Partnerships: case study

This case study focuses on the process of establishing partnership and governance structures for LeftCoast in Blackpool and Wyre. It looks at how partners came together to develop the programme, and how their experiences as a partnership influenced the development of LeftCoast as an organisation. Ecorys is producing a number of case studies as part of the national evaluation of Creative People and Places.
